Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Desked, accessible at https://desked.io (the “Service”). The Service is operated by the Desked team (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to do so.

The Service

Desked lets organizations book desks, see who is in the office, and manage related workspace settings. We may update, add, or remove features over time.

Accounts

Your administrator creates and manages user accounts within your organization. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Notify us of any unauthorized use.

Trial

We offer a 14-day free trial that does not require a payment method. At the end of the trial, you may subscribe to continue. If you do not subscribe, access ends and data may be deleted after 30 days.

Subscription and billing

The Service is offered on a subscription: $19/month including 10 seats, plus $2.50/month per additional seat, or an annual plan at a 20% discount. Your admin account is included at no charge and does not count toward billable seats.

All payments, subscriptions, and financial transactions for Desked are processed and managed exclusively by Polar Software Inc. (“Polar”), acting as our Merchant of Record. When you purchase a subscription, you are entering into a financial contract with Polar, subject to the Polar Terms of Service. Desked does not collect, process, or store your credit card details or financial information.

You can add or remove seats, and your bill adjusts accordingly. There is no minimum term; you may cancel at any time and your subscription ends at the close of the current billing period.

Refunds

If you are unsatisfied, contact support@desked.io to request a refund. Refunds are issued at our discretion through Polar and processed to the original payment method.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to breach security, disrupt the Service, reverse engineer it, or use it to store unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Your data

Data you and your organization put into the Service remains yours. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the lawfulness of the data your organization stores and for informing your users as required.

Availability

We work to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Desked team is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or non-payment. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and data may be deleted after 30 days.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
